Gameplay Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 Apk

The games use a “behind-the-back” third-person camera perspective, similar to Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors. Special forms are treated as unique characters with different stats, movesets, and fighting styles. Players can build up their Ki gauge in battle to perform techniques like the Power Guard, which reduces damage by 1/4. The Ki gauge is also used for Blast 2 skills, unique to each character, like Ki blasts and physical attacks.

Characters have a self-recharging Blast Stock gauge for Blast 1 skills with supportive effects. Players can enter Max Power Mode by exceeding full Ki, making them faster, stronger, and able to use exclusive moves like the Ultimate Blast. However, using any Blast 2 skill or Ultimate Blast ends Max Power Mode immediately.

Artificial Humans (Jinzôningen): They remain undetectable on radar unless locked onto. They cannot charge their Ki unless their Ki gauge is full, in which case they may charge as normal to enter Max Power mode. Models that absorb energy gain Ki by absorbing incoming energy and attacks, while models with unlimited energy constantly replenish Ki at a consistent rate. The Ki gauge can also be filled by landing successful melee attacks, similar to other characters. This effect applies to Android 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and Super 17.

Large Characters ( Broly ): They do not flinch from smaller characters’ melee attacks. This “Brick wall” effect applies to Broly, Bojack, Super Trunks, Great Ape, Great Ape Vegeta, and Android 16.

Great Ape: They do not flinch from smaller characters’ melee attacks and cannot be thrown or hit with a Dragon Dash-type finishing move.

Scouter (e.g., Bardock): These characters can lock onto an opponent from anywhere using the scouter. However, it takes a few moments for them to turn the scouter on and begin looking around. The scouter breaks when the character takes a certain amount of damage. Characters with scouters include Raditz, Nappa, Scouter Vegeta, Dodoria, Zarbon, Recoome, Burter, Jeice, Captain Ginyu, and Bardock.

Mr. Satan: None of the other characters “flinch” when hit by his melee attacks, not even when fighting another Mr. Satan.

Majin Buu: All forms of Buu recover health slowly over time.

Game modes of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 Apk

The story mode in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, known as “Z Battle Gate”, “Dragon Adventure”, and “Dragon History” in each instalment, involves completing battles based on moments from the original manga series and anime-exclusive storylines. The game includes combo attacks, Blast Combos, and the Z Burst Dash for more damage and longer combos. The Z Burst Dash allows for quick evasive manoeuvres but drains the player’s energy. Character fusion and upgrades are also available. Some characters, like Videl and Hercule, cannot use certain techniques. The player can enhance their characters’ abilities through these features while enjoying the various modes and battles offered in the game series.

Z Battle Gate:

The story mode of the game, Z Battle Gate, follows a similar format to previous games. Players can select battles from different sagas and progress through the story of Dragon Ball Z. Each battle has specific objectives, such as finishing with a certain special move or within a set time limit. The story mode includes some battles that were not originally part of the story. Dragon Balls can be found within the destructible environment. Clearing certain gates may unlock extra fights. Additionally, two new stories are introduced where movie and Dragon Ball GT villains fight the Dragon Team, and a tournament involving characters from Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z takes place.

Ultimate Battle:

This mode pits the player’s chosen fighter against 100 characters. Players earn winning points and ranks in this mode, with positive or negative points depending on the battle’s outcome. If the player ends up with no winning points, the game is over, and they must start back at Rank 100. Occasionally, secret characters may interrupt the fight before it begins, offering more points for defeating them. Winning five straight fights prompts a challenge from someone five ranks ahead, with success moving the player five ranks up.

World Tournament:

Similar to the Budokai series, players can enter a world tournament to compete for the top spot. There are three levels of the basic tournament and a Cell Games mode hosted by Cell. Characters can fly and leave the arena perimeter, but touching the ground results in a ring-out. The prize for winning a World Tournament is a Z-item. If there is more than one human player, no prize will be awarded.

Evolution Z:

Characters can have up to 7 slots for Z-items, but stronger characters may have as few as 3 slots. Z-items can increase a player’s Z-item slots, but the total cannot exceed 7. Some Z-Items can be fused together to create new abilities and characters.

Character Illustrations:

A unique feature in the game is Character Illustrations, which list English and Japanese voice actors and detailed profiles for unlocked characters. It reveals that the Great Ape featured in Budokai Tenkaichi without armor is a generic Saiyan warrior, not a specific character like Goku or Gohan.
